Topping our list of refinements is an all-new transmission. Our engineers examined every gear, tolerance, ratio and shift dog to completely redesign the guts of the gearbox. Combined with a new clutch design, the result is a smoother and quieter-shifting transmission. We also narrowed the bike significantly for an easier reach to the ground and pulled back the handlebars 2 inches for added comfort on long rides.
We even shaved 27 pounds of weight from the V92SC through the use of lighter wheels, clutch, subframe and footpeg mounts. What we didn't change are the monster 50mm Marzocchi® front forks, high-performance adjustable Fox® shock, 2-into-1 sport exhaust, bobbed fenders and a rear tire that's 180mm fat.
